This is my final background I have created, and it is a stripe background. I changed what the tutorial did with the motion blur because I thought it took away the affect of the ocean ripple which I thought was cool. So to create this image I set a distance of 50 pixels instead of 225. Overall it is really simple but I think it creates a really cool image.

Backround 3
This is my third background and it is supposed to be a streaky background. If I redo this background I will change the colors because I do not think that they are opposing enough and so the effect is not as apparent. This tutorial was pretty easy so I think I will have to change it using different colors, but this tutorial went through some really cool filter like the ocean ripple which I think overall could just be used as a background.

Pixel Background
This is the first background I created and I think that it turned out really cool. The image above is the full image I chose and it was a whole bunch of hot air balloons because they were really colorful and I thought that they would create a nice image. Overall I think it turned out really cool and what the tutorial did was go through a lot of filters like motion blur and pixelate to create this sort of image.
Final Sphere
This is my final sphere and I incorporated all of the components of the sphere that are necessary and labeled them all in the layers. I think that my sphere looks pretty good I struggled with it a lot so I started over multiple times but overall I think it turned out alright. For the shadow I looked up a tutorial online because whenever I tried to do it with the brush it did not turn out looking normal but with this tutorial I think that it turned out looking pretty good. Overall it was really hard to make it look like a sphere and I think that the reference picture looks realer but I tried to make it look as good as I could.

Blending Practice with a Mask
This is my practice with the mask, and my goal was to create a circle that looked as if light was hitting it so you cold see the light and the shadows. Overall it was a good way to practice blending and doing so in a mask is nice because it is easier to not mess up. Also this practice will help me create my sphere because I understand how the mask works and how to blend from light to dark.
